Iva Papić has been employed at the Ministry of Culture in the Conservation Department Osijek as senior advisor – conservator for mobile and immobile cultural heritage since 2005. She obtained her MA in History of art and Latin language and Roman literature at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb in 2005. At the same faculty in 2019. she finished her PhD thesis, under the titile: Medieval church architecture in Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem and it's transformations during the Ottoman reign. She managed perennial projects of conservation and restoration of cultural heritage, among others, the originally Hospitallers church in Koprivna. Iva Papić was a co-author of exhibition about medieval sacral heritage of Osijek. Her research interests are medieval church art and architecture.
